Special Awards
There are a number of awards specific to NCOM that exemplify qualities required for the race.
The Murder Maverick Steer Award will honor and recognize the NCOM racer, crew member, volunteer or race marshall who displays the spirit of NCOM with true grit, courage, passion, inspiration and sportsmanship.
The Wheels Up award recognizes to the male and the female NCOM 383 racers who ride Strava’s Mcdonald Observatory Approach segment the fastest.
The Lantern Busch award will go the last
racer who finishes the NCOM 208 course within the time cutoff.
